Summary: Right after hosting the Foxes Christmas party, Neil and Andrew have a moment to themselves in their living room. (read on AO3)

A/N: Merry Christmas everyone! I got this finished a day later than I said I would HAHA anyway, I hope everyone’s having a great Christmas <3

Neil doesn’t remember how they got to own this much tableware. He knows he didn’t buy any because they already had the standard set back from the Columbia house, and he’s sure as hell about Andrew not caring enough to get anything new. Maybe they accumulated over the numerous fan presents they’ve received, because some fans were thoughtful enough to really go the extra mile. Maybe they all came in the form of Christmas presents, from those of their circle that believed that he and Andrew were capable of having a family (Nicky, maybe even Matt). 

What was funny was that their owned tableware didn’t match, sets upon sets upon sets getting all jumbled up in their cabinets that they didn’t bother matching anything up with counterparts. Which is how when they hosted the Foxes Christmas party in their household, they had more than enough random sets of tableware for everyone to eat with. 

This year, they decided to hold it in the backyard, seeing as some of the Foxes needed to bring their kids with them - Kevin and Thea with their four year-old daughter, Nicky and Erik with their twin sons, Dan and Matt with their two kids and newborn, and Aaron and Katelyn with their six year-old son. Renee and Allison were still processing their adoption, so it really was only Neil and Andrew that didn’t opt for having children. It was fine though, because Neil thought that if their house could have any purpose, it would be having the Foxes - his family - over.

Their house was big, probably too big for the both of them and their cats. Andrew had it built after deciding to sell the Columbia house, feeling like they’ve outgrown it and all. Plus, with them being on their respective pro teams, a home in a new location was only logical. The commute to and from each of their teams’ bases was a lot more comfortable after they moved, and they decided to stay there even after the both of them were signed to the US Court.

Being Court meant seeing a lot of Jean and Jeremy around, but they weren’t able to make it to Neil and Andrew’s Christmas this year, much to Kevin’s dismay. Something about Jean finally deciding to go to France for his family’s Christmas, and bringing Jeremy along with him. Jeremy had seemed fine with the idea, but Neil knew that Jean had yet to overcome his family’s disapproval with him and the way his life turned out. He hoped they were okay, and sent a care package around a week ago.

With their several sets of tableware, Andrew’s cooking, and Neil on the logistics of the party, everything went smoothly. They all sat to an amazing dinner out on the backyard and sang to songs on Nicky’s procured karaoke set while the kids played on the blankets set out for them just a few feet away. What was notable to Neil was how the group dynamics were completely different from back then. The Foxes were all truly grown up now, far from their wild, carefree selves back in PSU. It’s been almost ten years since they all left the university, and they all led different lives now.

In all honesty, Neil could sit there for hours and think about how much his life has changed.

“Hey.” 

Andrew’s voice from behind him made him jump a bit, almost knocking over his mug of tea. The guests had all gone home an hour ago, and Andrew had made him sit down instead of helping with clean-up. Too preoccupied with not wanting to fall asleep just yet, Neil just nodded and yawned in Andrew’s face in reply.

“Done already?”

“It’s a talent.” Andrew went up to one of their cupboards and took out a tin of chocolate biscuits. Neil shook his head after Andrew tilted the tin towards him in a silent offer.

“You really outdid yourself with dinner tonight. The whole five courses and all.”

“Didn’t want Nicky to be a little bitch about me not wanting Erik to help out. Besides, the kids needed options.”

Neil knew he was talking about Kevin’s daughter in particular, a dark-haired girl named Aubrey. He had talked to Kevin beforehand about not letting the girl get everything she wants, but the girl’s attitude that night made it apparent that Kevin was still behind on discipline. At least Aubrey had more than two dishes on her plate.

The clock on their kitchen wall read 12:03 AM. Neil blinked sleepily at Andrew, the edges of fatigue already around his shoulders. This was the latest they’ve been up in a while. Still, Neil knew they’d stayed up later back then, talking up on the roof and smoking. They really were getting old.

“Well,” Neil said, pushing back his chair and standing up. “We should call it a night.”

Before he could turn around, Andrew said, “Wait.”

“What?”

“Let’s go.” Andrew offered a hand, and Neil was honestly too sleepy to contest.

Still, he asked, “What’s this for?” as Andrew maneuvered the both of them out of the kitchen. They kept walking until they reached the living room, and Andrew let go of Neil’s hand and went up to their stereo.

Neil sat on one of their armchairs and yawned, his third one in the last hour. And he might’ve actually fallen asleep for a bit, until a couple nudges to his foot shook him back awake.

He heard the first few notes of a song he wasn’t familiar with, and saw Andrew offering his hand to him yet again.

“Andrew Minyard, what is going on--”

“Do you not know how dances work, Josten?”

Neil stared at Andrew’s hand dumbly for a few more seconds, until Andrew sighed and yanked Neil up.

“This’ll be quick, I promise,” Andrew murmured in Neil’s ear, and Neil nodded, putting both his hands on Andrew’s hips.

“Is this alright?” Neil patted Andrew’s hips, and Andrew nodded. Slowly, they began moving to the song, finding a slow and steady rhythm.

It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair And then she asks me, “Do I look all right?” And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight.”

“Huh, this song isn’t bad,” Neil said softly, a little more awake now. He stared into Andrew’s eyes and smiled. “Softie.”

A small frown came across Andrew’s face. “Shut up. You’re ruining the song.”

“Whatever you say.”

Neil had long grown accustomed to Andrew’s off-brand gestures of affection, as rare as they were grand and meaningful. He already knew he was the more expressive of the two of them, and he was perfectly okay with that. Still, each and every gesture tugged at Neil’s heartstrings, even after having been married to the man for four years.

“Mmm. This is nice.” Neil hugged Andrew closer to him. “Did you feed the cats?”

“Yes. The leftover salmon went to King and Sir.”

“Great.”

After a beat, Neil spoke again. “We’re gonna have to sleep soon, Andrew.”

Andrew rolled his eyes. “I’ll carry you to the bedroom if I’ll need to.”

“Oooh. Can’t pass that up.”

Neil pressed a small kiss to Andrew’s forehead. Just because he can. “I love you too, dummy.”

And Neil was expecting some sort of clever retort, because that was what they did, but instead, Andrew just stared back at him. Like... like he was everything. It was enough to make Neil nervous that he wasn’t good enough.

Maybe that was how Andrew looked at him sometimes, when he didn’t notice.

“Yes or no?” One of Andrew’s hands went to Neil’s jaw, cupping it gently.

“Four years really doesn’t do much, huh? Yes, of course.”

They kissed, and the music in the stereo was not loud enough to drown out Neil’s beating heart. Andrew’s other hand went to the back of Neil’s head, angling the kiss better. Neil was in jogging pants and a hoodie, and he felt so warm and comfy against Andrew’s body. In the soft light of their living room, the last few words of the song made it to Neil’s ears, and he hummed against Andrew’s mouth.

I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight

Andrew broke the kiss, and after smirking at Neil momentarily moving forward for more, he said, “Okay, Sleeping Beauty, off to bed it is.”

“Aww, and I was getting so into it too--”

Neil’s words were interrupted as he was lifted up, bridal style. He laughed, and threw his arms around Andrew’s neck.

“I thought you were tired.” Andrew’s grumpy tone made Neil laugh even more.

“Am not.”

Neil spent the whole way to their bedroom kissing the side of Andrew’s mouth in his own form of protest. As Neil opened their bedroom door for the both of them, one of the last things he heard was Andrew's murmured, "I love you too."

And if Neil fell asleep almost immediately after Andrew set him down under the covers, Andrew didn’t say anything about it the next day.

Cee! I'm sooo sooo sorry I didn't even get time to thank you for that greaaatttt advice that you gave to flirt with my gym crush! I had this huge project and I just completed it. And omfg u NEED to what happened!! In gym, we have the same trainer and since I'm really great at cardio, he asked me to do some punching + squat combo while he held the boxing pads. During the last set, he asked my crush to film it and lemme tell you, I went all out and punched the shit out while everyone stared. You couldn’t care less for the people or places around you, it had been boring and straight since you were born, nothing wild, no rule-breaking, no frowns, no nothing.

The arrival of the core four had made Auradon prep interesting, but that faded as they became more like the sheep around you, abandoning their fellow vks for a soft pillow.

Ben, your brother, had also abandoned his ‘bring over vks once every two months’ plan, preferring to tend to his “perfect” girlfriend Mal.

Perfect HA! Mal was less than perfect, she obviously was super uncomfortable with the entire ‘lady of the court thing’ and wanted out, she hated the paparazzi, the clothes, the manners, the hair, which was now bleached blonde with lavender tips.

And you were the only one she told personally about her troubles and wants to return to the isle, you didn’t discourage her, only saying “do you really want to return to the isle, or do you want to be free of this royalty bullshit?”

She hadn't responded, and when she left for the isle only two days away from cotilion, you weren't surprised.

What did surprise you was when ben burst into your room, begging for you to come with him to the isle to help get mal back.

You had an odd feeling, so you agreed, grabbing your casual clothes, which evie blinked at, you shrugged her off, you had a natural isle style apparently.

It took about an hour to get to the isle, and you had basically wandered off as soon as you had arrived at the hideout, noticing that your “friends” were distracted, you walked off, soon being run into by a set of kids, trying to get into your messenger bag, but you easily pushed them away, wincing at you felt the boniness of the children.

One fell to the ground and the other stood in front of his fallen friend, glaring at you, daring to try anything else.

You sighed, reaching into your bag and pulling out one of your tiaras, and kneeling down, holding it out to the child. Both of their eyes widened, seeing your true smile and the definitely real blue diamonds on the golden tiara.

“go on” you whispered, holding the tiara closer to the child “take it, I don’t need it”

The dirt-covered child stood up from the ground, walking around his friend and slowly taking the tiara, gasping as he saw a poster with your face on it, recognizing you.

The two children nodded, grinning slightly and rushed off, hiding the tiara in their larger jackets.

You didn’t hear your brother or evie call for you, and you didn’t hear one of Harry's crew members inform them for mal to meet uma at the chip shop for a negotiation.

Harry led you to the ship, smirking as you gave a wow at the vessel, for some reason, he just wanted to look at you for hours, and listen to you talk and ramble.

He shook those feelings and wants away, showing you around the main deck and smiling at you as you explored.

“never seen a pirate ship before princess?”

You turned and smiled, making Harry's heart skip a beat, what the hell is happening to him?!

“You can call me (y/n), I never liked that title anyway, and no, I've never seen a pirate ship, they are all sunken to the ocean floor”

As you looked around the ship, you stopped at harrys sword, the red fabric wrapped around the hilt making your raise your brow.

You hummed, shrugging off your jacker and letting it drop from the floor, seeing Harry's Adam's apple bob, his pupils dilated.

Harry grinned, walking to a barrel and grasping a sword, and tossing it to you. you caught it with ease, flipping it as you did.

The two of you clashed for a little bit, easily matching the other as you fought, he swiped for your torso, you dodged, and he sent his palm at your torso, sending you to the floor.

He knelt down over you, sword above your neck. “ready to surrender princess~?”

You smirked, lifting your legs and wrapping them around his neck and torso, flipping yours and Harry's positions, you on top, his face pressed against your thigh, face red and eyes wide.

A slow loud clapping sounded from behind you, you stood up, turning to see a girl with teal braided hair, a pirates hat on her head.

You smiled standing, retrieving your jacket in the prosses, making uma blink in surprise as you greeted her as if she hadn't just ordered a kidnapping on you “You must be uma, a pleasure to meet ya”

Uma looked at you up and down, she thought Harry had full-on kidnapped you, but it seemed you had come willingly.

“now, harry says that you wanted something with me? uma steeled herself, standing tall and strutting up to her, putting on her best killer gaze, but you didn’t flinch meeting her gaze evenly.

“yes, you…for the wand and crown”

You blinked a few times, surprised at her bluntness before you busted out laughing, making uma drop her face and harry look at you in confusion.

“oh-my-god-!!! You-you want the wand?! Ben would have been a much better hostage!”

You continued to laugh before gaining your breath, grinning sadly as you looked to the ground “im the second born, no one really gives a fuck about me, the crowned king is alive and well, the princess isn't needed”

Uma stared at you in surprise, she wasn’t expecting that mini-rant from an Auradon rat.

“I don’t give a crap about Auradon though, so its an even trade”

You laughed coldly “I hope for your sake, ben cares enough to bring the wand, seeing the isle today” you paused sneering slightly “made me pissed off, you are all CHILDREN, you did nothing wrong! You shouldn’t have to pay the price for your parent's wrongdoings, and ben has ignored that for six months”

Uma stared at you, before deciding something, she walked up to you holding her hand out, you blinked at it in surprise, looking at uma confused.

“It seems we have a common goal, you want freedom and justice for the wrongly accused vks, and I want the same, what do ya say princess (y/n)? are you on my side”

You smirked, grabbing onto umas outstretched hand holding it up in the air, tightly gripping it.

Harry stared at you as you started to fidget. he stayed silent, figuring out what you had just said.

You felt a connection with him….just as he felt a connection to you.

Harry breathed deeply, closing his eyes for a few moments, before opening them, staring into your bright eyes.

He stalked forward, pressing his lips to yours, pressing against his door, you moaned, feeling around for the lock, clicking it you moved your hands to wrap around his neck and thread your fingers in his thick hair.

Harry unbuckled his belt, tossing it across the room, before shrugging off his jacket and pressing his hardening core to yours.

He broke away from you, spit keeping the two of you connected, breath heavy and hearts beating fast.

“let's take this to the bed shall we?”

You nodded, breathing heavily.

Harry picked you up by your thighs, walking over to his bed and setting you down, laying his body on top of yours, griding slightly.

Harry let out a grunt, pleasure shooting up his spine, as you let out high pitched sighs.

“w-wait!” harry stopped, pulling away, a good 8 inches between you.

German Postillon articles about the US Election translated

@theeeveetamer sent me this post in which someone translated German Postillon headlines about the US Election. Der Postillon is a German satire website disguised as a newspaper, kind of the German equivalent to The Onion.

So, I translated one of the articles for her and it was really, really fun. So I thought I might do more and share it on my blog so hopefully more people can have a laugh!

Before I continue though: Please keep in mind that the Postillon is a satire website! None of the news in this post are actually true, it’s just meant to have a good laugh. I am repeating this again: none of these are actually real! I also want to make clear that none of those were written by me, I merely translated them! Experts are certain that Donald Trump is going to win the Election because 2020 has been a shitty year so far anyways

Washington D.C. – Joe Biden hopes to put an end to Trump’s presidency after four years: he is clearly ahead in the polls on this Election Day. Despite that, most experts are sure that Trump will win – because so far, 2020 has been a shitty year anyways!

“If you look at the average of the national polls, Joe Biden is currently more than 8% ahead of Trump,” politic scientist Marianne Waters from the renowned Princeton University explains. “This means that his lead is way greater than Hillary Clinton’s in 2016. Under normal circumstances, you’d say that he’s already won the Election.”

She pauses for a second. “But now, please think about what a fucked up mess of a year 2020 has been so far! And then, think again about whether or not the American people are that fucked up in their brains to elect this human catastrophic failure for four more years! We’re talking about a year in which a global pandemic is going rampant across the planet anyways, we’re seeing islamistic and nazi terror attacks at the daily and entire havens are exploding ‘completely by accident’! Is there anybody who seriously believes in a sensible result of this election?!”

At least, scientists aren’t fully ruling out the possibility of Biden winning the Election. However, because this is 2020, the chance of an asteroid hitting the earth five minutes after this has happened is nothing but small.

Moskow – How can one be so scatterbrained! Wladimir Putin just realized to his very own horror that he completely forgot to manipulate the US Election. Now, his candidate Donald Trump is in trouble.

“Bljad! {T/N: Russian for “crap”} I knew I forgot something really important!”, Putin says. “But due to all the inner politics, the corona virus and all the other countries our hackers need to manipulate elections in, I totally forgot about the United States! This is just great!”

He turns to his assistant. “Dima! USA! Can we turn something around there? ... No? ... Really?! And if we deliver arms to the... How are those guys called again... Proud Boys? WHAT?! They already have enough of those?!? Oh well.”

However, in the end, Putin puts up with the situation after all: “Ah, we’ll see. Maybe everything will turn out fine one way or another.” He turns to his assistant again: “Dima, make an appointment with Donald Trump jr. as soon as possible! I heard he is is just as dumb as his father and has political ambitions as well. We’ll survive Biden until 2024.”

Employees of the Oval Office try to stop Trump from tweeting “CIVIL WAR!!!! Kill all Democrats!”

Washington D.C. – While votes are still being counted all over the USA, dramatic scenes start to unfold in the White House. Currently multiple employees are trying to prevent President Donald Trump from grabbing his smartphone in order to tweet the words “CIVIL WAR!!!! Kill all Democrats!”.

“No Mr. President!”, an assistant shouts as she holds Trump’s arm. “Don’t do this! I have a family! I don’t want a civil war! Jack, restrain him, damnit! Anna, don’t stand there and stare so stupidly, help us! Ian, put his smartphone as far away as you can!”

In the meantime, countless citizens of the USA are wondering why Trump didn’t tweet anything for more than seven hours.

“Leave me alone!”, Trump cries as he desperately tries to reach his smartphone. “They want to steal my election by letting every vote count! Even those of the Democrats! I WANT TO SEE BLOOD!!!”

Meanwhile, outside of the White House, more and more people are speculating that Trump could accept a possible loss due to his silence on Twitter.

Harrisburg – Oh no! Everything is going to take even longer now! James Reed, the 100-year-old man tasked with counting all the votes of the US Election surprisingly just died.

“Maybe it wasn’t such a great idea to task one man of his age with the counting of millions of votes,” the chief of the Electoral Office stated. “Unfortunately, he was the only one with a license for this important job.”

After the closing of the polling stations, Reed, who was responsible for counting the votes since the 1970s, traveled from state to state in order to count all the votes.

“He took his job very seriously. He’d often take 20 minutes in order to count a single vote,” an election assistant recalls as tears of gried run over her cheeks. “But just after he counted 92% of the votes at Michigan, he suddenly fell from his chair.”

An average election of the Federal Congress {T/N: they mean the German Federal Congress, also known as the Bundestag} is finished, predicted and decided one second after closing the polling stations {T/N: Yes, German elections are that boring}. An official end result is provided in the next morning at the latest! How in the world can the Americans be trundle as fuck like this?!?

Suggestion: we ignore the entire shitshow over there for the next few weeks until those idiots have punched their faces in and once the victor is clear, there is one short headline: “Winner of the US Election: [insert winner’s name here]”. Then this whole crap would... WHAT?? Biden takes the lead at Georgia by 900 votes? Wowowowow! Just a moment please, I’ll have a look at the livetracker. Did CNN already comment on this? Falling down The Kamen Rider hole.

I watched a random compilation vid of henshin sequences for most of the Kamen Rider shows (being Youtube, the top comment of course was “I like the bit where they say henshin.”) and well, I did want something different to watch.

I started off with Kamen Rider W, since a review recommended it as a good starting series, and I was pretty much shipping Phidari before I even saw an episode.

Also, Suda Masaki is omfgsodamnkawaii and I am just under the wire as far the Standard Creepy Rule goes. Although it’s more of a puppy crush, as in- I view him in a very similar way as I would an adorable puppy. Yes, I kinda want to mash his head into my boobs, but not in a sexual way. I have all these feelings that I don't know how to process properly. In the meantime.... so cute!

Then I started on a bit of Den-O because I liked the sword form henshin jingle. And Satoh-san, so impressed how he portrays multiple characters. I know it’s all in collaboration with the suit actors, still that’s a lot of work. Plus there’s the dancing, (and I love how Ryutaros’s special power is being able to summon backup dancers and create flash-mobs) and you did all that whilst sick? Damn.

And then.... well turns out I’m a bit too ADD to binge watch a series. Heck as kid, I was usually in the process of reading two to three different novels at any given time. Given that, might as well check out another series.

Wowowowowow Four-ze! Wowowowow Fun, ne? Man is Gen-chan tall or what? Love the interaction with Shoutaro in the movie, Taro club away! JK looks like a live-action version of Zaou Ryuu. I need more screen-time to determine do I love him for him or for his resemblance to my fave anime man-hoe?

Also, Kamen Rider Meteor-  love the disco henshin theme.... is that small blast all there is? I can’t find it on Youtube. I can find a ten-minute loop of Shabadoobie touchie henshin (and why haven’t more people made that into a remix?! I sought out the loop because: 1: So catchy & 2: my brain was demanding "More!!! the henshin sequence isn’t long enough!”) So yeah, more disco please.

Got further through Fourze before oversaturation hit. Well, looking through the Kamen Rider wiki (I needed a guide for who the heck these other riders are that keep showing up in the fanfics) and since Heisei Phase 2 has the characters I’m seeing most, I’m focusing on that for now.

So what next? For some reason I’m still hesitating on OOO, and I don’t think I’m quite ready for Gaim. Zi-O? I’m waiting for the right fanfic to fix the time-rewriting first (Seriously, you try to take my フィリップ  away and I will fucking cut you.) Maybe it’s just the fic, but Build looks a little too emotionally heavy at the moment.

Okay then, Ex-Aid.

Episode 1: I know these shows are marketing toys to kids, but holy crap guys, slow down. (Plus, the 90′s called- they want their colour scheme back.) Still, this looks- aptly enough- to be what the doctor ordered.

Episode 2: Love the op theme. Kagami Hiiro-sensei? You are being such a dick right now. Will someone smack this idiot over the head ... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! IF YOU’RE ALL “SAVING THE PATIENT IS ALL THAT MATTERS”, THEN WHY ARE YOU DUELING INSTEAD ON FOCUSING ON SAVING THE PATIENT’S LIFE?! Someone grab this boy and give him an priority adjustment and ego-ectomy stat.

Episode 3: Why wasn’t Tagia given counseling? Proper intervention and maybe you wouldn’t have flushed a medical career down the toilet. So he got hooked on gaming and put it before medicine. You assholes gave him the driver and gashat in the first place. The game was implied to be faulty, (or at least, that’s the impression I got) meaning he was essentially given a mind-altering substance, had his priorities warped as a result and it lead to him loosing a patient.

So for that he got booted out the door, with the lack of a medical license now making him an unskilled laborer with an addiction problem. Of course he’s back and looking for a fix. (Are they gonna redeem this guy? Hope so.  BTW? Love the hair, dude.)

Episode 4: “There’s no point if you don’t ride me.” Excuse me while I pause the episode and giggle for a while.

Ah, Ex-Aid, I think I’m going to like you.

Flashback time: In the analog days, most girls when they hit those teen years moved onto trashy romance novels. I, as what I believe they are now calling “Xennials”, was still stuck on sci-fi novels during the switch-over and by the time I was interested in such fiction, well I went right to slashfic. (Remember mailing lists?) Joined my first (and only) slash-list at 16. Despite the reigning 18+ rule, I was honest about my age and they let me in anyway. (Perhaps if only to keep an eye on me.) Then mailing lists kind of died off and it was onto web archives.

And that’s when I paused the ep and logged on to type this up. There’s a certain point in people’s lives, where to some degree, they mentally stop aging. On the whole, a lot of the time, I’m pretty much still 16 (Probably a good thing, apparently my mother’s still only 25.) randomly touring though my early 20′s and occasionally re-visiting being 7. Actually when I was in my teens, I think I was time-travelling on occasion to what might very much turn out to be my 70′s (”In my day....:)

Where was I? Oh- “There’s no point if you don’t ride me.” Said the tanned guy in the leather jacket to the clumsy naive young twink of a doctor. You can’t put that in front of me and not have me shed at least 10 years worth of maturity.

(Actually, lemme just check the fic count on this pairing.... ) Still kinda want to pair Emu and Parad, but I have got to start to try watching shows before I start paring off the characters.

OR. He takes you to the dance studio saying it’s urgent and he has little notes along the way and flowers at the end and he asks to for a dance and confesses in your ear holy crap I die (tbh I only see him accidentally doing it lolol)

-We all know nobody can let this squish go. He is too precious for the world and even on tour I see him finding time to text you or call and all that stuff that makes my heart flutter flutter

-Clingy. Clingyclingyclingy. Also very protective. He can go from squish to jealous in .5 seconds. If he sees you let’s say arguing with Jungkook over a game and Jungkook thinks it’s ok to tickle you to win. His eyes would immediately darken with rage. He will probably take it calmly by getting in the middle and tickling you instead. But you can tell he’s jealous by his tight grip the next time you talk to Jungkook. -Probably the cutest thing ever. Probably just a peck cus some y'all nasty and want tongue and no take it slow. One night you’re cuddling and you probably squish his cheeks and he does the same to yours and you are giggling then he just grins and pecks your lips. His giggle gives me life sorry side note. Tbh his lips are probably so soft omfg like pillows and you immediately stop giggling before he kisses your cheek sweetly. The feels wow I am a sad single human being

-Neck Kisses. Holy wow. So much neck kisses. He usually nuzzles into your neck too. He just loves your neck idk why. Wings Tour Newark 3/23

This is just a post for myself mainly to remember everything that happened last night!

Can I just say before I begin, that this concert was the best ever. You will seriously not regret going. If you ever have a chance, you must go see BTS live. They really know how to pump up the crowd and leave you with amazing memories. 

When we first got to the venue it was around 6-6:30pm. We had seats so we didnt have to worry about standing in line. We got some ridiculously overpriced food at the venue and then since we still had about an hour and a half, we walked around looking at merchandise and taking pictures with the standees!

That was a nice surprise for me, I wasn’t aware they would have them at the Newark Venue so I got really excited. The lines for Jimin and V were the longest, so my sister and I went to our biases Suga and J-Hope first. We also got pictures with Namjoon and Jin! 

This was my first kpop concert so it was really cool to see all the fangirls in one place. A lot of people were wearing BTS merch with names on them and it was just so amazing to be around people who love and appreciate the members like you do. Everyone was super sweet! We asked a bunch of people directions on where to go as it was our first time at Prudential Center and everyone was glad to help! I saw a lot of dads and moms in the section that I was sitting which was kinda cool. I kept looking over during performances and almost of all them were pretty amazed at the dancing and all the lights and fanchants hehe :) 

Before the concert started they were playing all their music videos and the crowd was so hype lol. At 7:54, blood sweat and tears came on and everyone was like “oh this is the last video! only 6 mins left!!” that was the moment that it kinda hit me like OMG we’re here. they’re here! But the concert ended up starting a couple minutes late which was fine tbh. 

Okay the actual concert: 

-everything felt so surreal, i kept having to pinch myself and tell myself that it was real

- not today was hypeeee the crowd chanted as loud as we could

- introductions - suga did his thing where he listens to the crowd and everyone went wild lmao, jin did his flying kiss and j-hope, of course, “i’m your hope!!!” “i’m your anGELLL” ugh it was amazing namjoon’s english was spectacular as always!

- dope was soooo much fun! am i wrong and baepsae too the crowd was just loving it. I couldnt help screaming even though I wanted to save my voice for the encore stages lol. THEY ARE SO GOOD LIVE   i know this gets said a lot, but honestly, i totally see why they’re known for the dances. EVERYTHING WAS SO PERFECTLY IN SYNC. It was so beautiful to watch. J-hope and Jimin really command the attention while they’re dancing it was sooo nice to see. 

- and then solo stages

- begin- the boy can SING AND DANCE holy shit hes so stable live and he hit those moves perfectly like whaa? how can someone be this talented? 

- lie was beautiful as always, the blindfold and the part where they lifted jimin was soo cool . 

- SUGA. WOW. his voice literalllyyyy resonated through the crowd. The crowd was literally on the edge of the seats just listening, no one was singing along we were just taking in the beautiful story that he was telling us it was so amazing. (also he didn’t finish the song? like either the crowd screamed so loud and he missed the timing for the last part? or he was just so overwhelmed in the moment  and didn’t finish? idk 

 - lost they showed up in the middle stage and wowowowow they’re so beautiful. everyone was singing along and when jin’s part came up everyone screamed so loud 

- UGH SAVE ME and I NEED U the crowd was so loud you could hear everything over the music.  people were literallyy screaming the words out. “thank you uri ga twejoso” 

- REFLECTION KIM NAMJOON - this boy really knows how to command a stage. in the middle “CAN YOU ALL FEEL MY VIBE” and everyone was like YEAAHH during the “i wish i could love myself” newark armys shouted “we love you” like the Brazilian armys, it wasnt planned or anything but everyone did it which was so beautiful 

v’s solo was amazing! he hit those high notes perfectly and actually looked more confident as he did it. 

MAMA. OMG. THIS WAS PROBABLY MY FAVE PERFORMANCE. WOW. J-HOPE. it was literally an amazing experience, the crowd singing along and his smile omg. he was GLOWING. he really is the sun. 

JINS AWAKE- everyone sang along and he hit those notes amazingly too. at the end he just stared into the camera and everyone screamed so loud omg. his moving stage was amazing too. 

CYPHEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR HOLY CRAP THIS IS IT. THIS WAS THE PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT. EVERYONE GOT SO LIT. PEOPLE WERE JUMPING SCREAMING THE LYRICS IT WAS SO GOOD. SUGA? J-HOPE? THREW WATER AND I DIED

right after that fire, and the crowd was super loud during this part! everyone rapped along with hobi’s “ROOM ROOM” hehe it was so much fun and the dance break wow they were so good 

then the medley of all the title songs! I think something might have gone a little astray with the sound because some parts, the drums and the guitars were a little louder than the mics so it was hard to hear their voices, but it was still a lot of fun. no more dream - jungkook held the mic out during his part in the middle about going to the library and he looked so shook when everyone sang it perfectly lol .  the transition to danger was flawless and everyone was jumping and having a really good time. BOY IN LUV was really good live but so was everything so im gonna stop saying that now

ugh blood sweat tears - suga let us rap his part in the beginning and it was so much fun, everyone was screaming hella loud and singing along watch the twitter videos it was amazing

HUGE PROPS TO THE ARMYS WHO CAME UP WITH AND PLANNED THE RAINBOW PROJECT IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL 

before they came out everyone put on their colored bags on their lightsticks/phone flashlights and it looked amazing! tbh i didn’t think it was gonna work out that well but it looked breathtaking!

then the boys came out and they looked genuinely surprised and touched at the rainbow! wings they had us sing along with “FLY HIGH” and it was so much fun

2,3. beautiful. spectacular. show-stopping. amazing. everyone sang along and the boys looked really touched. 

they talked for a while asking us if we enjoyed the concert and how they were so thankful about selling out. they mentioned the rainbow and how it looked so beautiful. then namjoon thanked everyone for the billboard accomplishments “the glory goes to you guys” which was super sweet of him. he also asked “WILL YOU GUYS STAY WITH BTS TILL THE END” and everyone was like YEEESS and he looked soo proud at that moment omg my poor soul

spring day everyone sang along and omg they looked so beautiful dancing contemporary. 

ending - everyone was singing the “ooohwoaah” part from spring day and they bowed. jungkook got an American flag and tied it around his shoulders and was pretending to fly with it lol what a cutie. people threw plushies? soft toys? on the stage and j-hope and v were playing with them. v also took a banner and held it up really high. they were just running around and looked really sad to leave. they made a bunch of hearts and kept waving bye. 

WOW. i was soooo happy that i got the chance to go and i know i am blessed to have been able to see them live. it was an amazing experience.
